TQual Level 4 Diploma in Drilling Well Control, learners must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Age: Learners must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment.
  • Educational Background: Completion of basic secondary education (e.g. GCSEs or equivalent) is recommended or A Level 3 Diploma in Drilling Well Control or an equivalent qualification in drilling or oil and gas operations. Alternatively, individuals with a combination of relevant industry training and practical rig experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in drilling operations, rig floor work, or wellsite support functions is highly recommended. Learners currently employed as Assistant Drillers, Derrickmen, Floorhands, or in equivalent roles are ideal participants.
